Sunday School Christmas Program

     The Sunday school classes provided a meaningful Christmas program on Dec. 19. They did such a good job singing all the songs from memorization and appeared to be enjoying themselves. The script was a little different format in telling the story of Jesus’ birth, but didn’t take away from the meaning and the reason we celebrate Christmas. Thank you to all involved. We appreciate the time and effort on everyone’s part to make it such a success.

Live Nativity Scene

     We had a new addition to the regular Lion’s Club Christmas program where Santa and Mrs. Claus come to visit with the children. This year there was a “live” nativity scene. Many children who participated in the scene were from our church. This was a bitter, cold night, so we applaud their commitment. Hopefully the soup supper reaped ample funding toward a new Legion Hall.
