Red Cedar Chamber Music’s Rural Outreach Concerts will present “Hallelujah, I’m a Bum!” a concert of music inspired by the folk traditions of America and Europe.  Performed by flutist Jan Boland and guitarist John Dowdall, this concert features the preview of Fireflies: A Folk Set for Flute and Guitar by Andrew Simpson, Red Cedar’s composer in residence.  Sponsorship for Rural Outreach Concerts is provided by the James and Norma Jean Rosborough Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional support provided by the Alliant Energy Foundation.
