ANGEL TREE - DELIVERING LOVE
T         The following is the thank you for our part in
            delivering love in our area:

I am amazed at how Angel Tree volunteers
continue to come together each year to serve the
           children of incarcerated parents.

During a busy and already hectic holiday
season you have reached out to families who are
hurting emotionally and financially. Your hard work
has not gone unnoticed. We at Angel Tree are
honored that you have partnered with us – taking
the time to make a lasting impact of the lives of
these dear children, their parents and their care
           givers.

With your help, we were able to deliver love to
more than 390,000 children of prisoners and
210,000 imprisoned parents across this nation.
Even in an economic recession, volunteers
remained faithful in donating time and money to
bless the less fortunate. More than 7,500 churches
were able to reach these families with gifts and life
           changing hope of the Gospel.

We pray you also were blessed: Proverbs 22:9
says “A generous man will himself be blessed.”
What a joy it is to serve these children and their
families. It is truly an honor to work alongside you
           in this mission.

On behalf of Angel Tree staff and the hundreds
and thousands families served through this
program, we say thank you for all you do to help
the children and families impacted by crime across
the United States. You are truly making a positive
difference in their lives and an eternal difference
           in their hearts.

May God continue to bless you as you serve
           Him throughout this New Year.

Do you have a story to tell?

EVERY Christian has a story about their faith in God. The Saturday Night Worship Committee is looking for volunteers to share their message with others at the contemporary services held at Delhi UMC every Saturday evening at 6:00. The services are very laid back, and the worship leader is in control of how the time is spent. Typically, worship entails 2-3 songs, prayer time, and a 10-15 minute message, and New Testament scripture selections all chosen by the worship leader. The service can be as interactive as the worship leader desires. It’s YOUR message, share it however you’d like!  If you are interested, but would like some help, the committee would be glad to provide any assistance you’d like.
